At the beginning of this year, one of our directors, Nik Mackey, was approached by The Medicine Garden co-founder Paul Studholme and Medicine Garden Shop co-owner Joanna Hudson with a business proposition. They wanted to partner up to create an eating destination in the beautiful Victorian Garden destination where our studio is situated. Nik jumped at the chance to be involved in this exciting prospect and began work on designing the space and support graphics.
The concept for the new outside eating space was decided, the main serving area would be a converted vintage Airstream and would be called ‘The Garden Pod’. The space it occupied would have to be equally as quirky and fire the imagination of visitors. We wanted to make a new and vital space that would compliment the already growing brand of The Medicine Garden.
Cups, packaging, signage, deck chairs, website and menus were designed ready for the launch. The Garden Pod, not only part owned by one of our directors, is a great place for our clients to meet and discuss their projects with us, enjoy something to eat or drink in an inspirational space which is bound to help the creative process.
