Yesterday topright were invited (as they are annually) to The Dairy Council’s Ceremony of The Christmas Cheeses. The Dairy Council are one of topright’s longest standing clients, a testament to the relationships we build.
The Ceremony of The Christmas Cheeses is held at the Royal Hospital in Chelsea and is the annual event by The Dairy Council which celebrates over half a century of supporting the Chelsea pensioners with their kind gift of British Cheese and enough of it to see them through to the next year.
This year we were treated to a stunning dance display from Strictly Come Dancing’s Flavia Cacace and Vincent Simone in The Great Hall during the proceedings. Last year it was Erin Brogue and her dance partner Anton du Beke. The Ceremony is grand in style with a very formal look – fanfares, strings and blessings. But the whole occasion has a very warm relaxed ‘family’ feel. The ceremony was followed by lunch in The State Apartments. Steeped in history, a special and intimate place where Kings and Queens of yesteryear have dinned whilst on state visits.
This year at The Ceremony of The Christmas Cheeses we were also able to get another of our trademark, if not slightly ridiculing photos of Tom with a female star from Strictly. They never ‘catch his good side’ but they are becoming a sort of tradition for us now!
